What Is Level 2 Reiki?

A Level 2 Certified Usui Reiki Practitioner is someone who has completed the second level of training in the Usui Reiki system. This level of training teaches practitioners how to use three sacred Reiki symbols, which can be used to enhance the power of Reiki healing. Level 2 practitioners can also perform distance healing, which is the ability to send Reiki energy to someone who is not physically present.

The Usui Reiki system is one of the most popular forms of reiki. It was founded by Mikao Usui in Japan in the early 1900s. The system teaches that there is a universal life energy that can be channeled through the hands of a practitioner to promote healing and well-being.

Level 2 Reiki training, follows Level 1 Certification, and typically takes about two days to complete. During the training, practitioners receive attunements from a Certified Reiki Master Teacher, learn about the three sacred symbols and how to use them, and are taught how to perform distance healing. They will also learn about the five principles of Reiki and how to apply them in their own lives.

After completing Level 2 training, practitioners are eligible to be certified as a Reiki Master. Master Level Certification is not required to practice Reiki, but it can leads to advanced symbols to enhance healing.
